Van Helsing
![]() |
| with Hugh Jackman for the role of Van Helsing,Kate Beckinsale for Anna Valerius and Richard Roxburgh for Dracula |
In the book Dracula by Bram Stoker, Van Helsing is a scientist who studies vampires. He goes to England to hunt Count Dracula. In this film Gabriel Van Helsing is send by God, he is like his "left hand".
Avis:
The principal actors did a great job. Their love story that ends badly could make people cry. The action scenes are very incredible.
The story is well written, it's a pleasure to watch it.

Vampires
Vampires are mythological or folkloric. They feed on the life essence, from the blood of people. They are undead, that's to say that they are immortal. Although vampiric entities have been recorded in many cultures, the term vampire was not popularized until the early 18th century, it begans in the western europe, where vampire stories were frequent. Although local variants were also known by different names, such as vrykolakas in Grece and strigoi (striga) in Romania. This increased level of vampire superstition in Europe led to hysteria and in some cases resulted in corpses actually being staked and people being accused of vampirism. Some people found corpse that were been beheaded.
